“My dad never graduated high school but he was an avid reader and he had a tremendous sense of self-improvement… My dad taught himself to be a man of respect.”
Steve Wynn’s father never completed high school, and yet, he educated himself and rose against the odds to become a successful man in America. In my new interview with Steve, Chairman and CEO of Wynn Resorts, he reveals the impact his father had on his life and how he instilled in him the values and ethics he needed to excel in business. Steve learned to recognize what made people and businesses successes or failures and he was able to use that knowledge to get out of Atlantic City before its collapse. Now he hopes his new resort in Boston will reinvigorate resort investment in major American cities, particularly on the East Coast.
